We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that 2011 is a good one for you all. We saw in the new year in Parliament Square and stood below Big Ben watching an impressive fireworks display as a backdrop. We would like to also take this opportunity to thank a number of people who have helped make this year so successful for us - to our old whisky blogging friends who have supported us since we started and continue to support us, to the new people that have discovered us from the whisky industry (be it from distilleries, brand ambassadors or PR and marketing departments) but, most importantly of all, to the readers who continue to find us, read what we write and leave comments or send us emails.
2010 has been a fantastic year for us at Whisky For Everyone. We have seen the profile and readership of both the blog and website snowball to previously unimaginable levels. Whisky For Everyone has broken (and in some cases, smashed) any previous records and as a result, we seem to be attracting more and more attention from the industry. This has led to us receiving more whisky samples and attending many more related events than before, which we can write about. The @whisky4everyone account on Twitter is also approaching the 2,000 follower mark, which is again beyond our wildest dreams. Our aim is to keep doing what we do, but also have plans for a couple of new ventures in 2011 that we will give more information on at a later date. It seems to be an exciting time to be a whisky blogger or writer ...
Thank you everyone. A Happy and prosperous New Year from both of us.
