Whisky For Everyone - A Decade of Blogging

When our first blog post popped up on 28 March 2008 it was difficult to imagine that Whisky For Everyone would still be going a decade later. Our fledgling interest in whisky, and Scotch in particular, led us to want to find out more. Writing things down seemed a good way to make facts, figures and tasting notes stick in our brains. If people read what we wrote then so be it - we gave it a working title of Whisky For Everyone and it was our vehicle for learning.

Welcome to our blog

This whisky blog is for anyone who is interested in whisky, beginner or otherwise. Our aim is to review whisky and explain about whisky in simple words, without all the snobbish terms, and get you thinking about what you like. We want this to be an interactive experience, so we need you to send comments and reviews of things that you have tried or want to try.

If you are a beginner, then tell us which spirits, cocktails or other drinks that you enjoy and we will suggest whiskies that we think you will like. Taste is a personal thing, there is no right or wrong. We will write our personal thoughts here. This whisky blog will be regularly updated with tasting notes and reviews as we try new stuff plus info to help get you trying new things as well.
