Welcome to Inbox, our weekly round up of whisky news and PR material that has found its way in to our WFE email. It was created as we cannot write full articles or do justice to every piece received. It features items from around the world of whisky and is published by us each Friday.
Within Inbox we aim to write a few lines detailing each press release/piece of news/PR event that we have received and provide links, where possible, for you to find out further information. This is the news that has grabbed our attention this week.

George Dickel
Diageo has announced a new limited edition bottling under its George Dickel Tennessee whiskey brand. The Bottled In Bond has been created in accordance with the 1897 Act that requires whiskey to be produced at a single distillery for a six month season each year and then aged in a federally bonded warehouse for a minimum of four years at 100 Proof (50% ABV).
The casks used have been selected by Nicole Austin, the Master Distiller who joined last year. The George Dickel Bottled In Bond is relased at 100 Proof (50% ABV) as dictated by the 1897 Act. It is available now from the distillery shop and will be rolled out across the USA in the next couple of months. A bottle will cost $36.
