Dalmore
The Highland distillery of Dalmore has announced a new range of single malts that will be exclusively available in the travel retail sector. The Dalmore Fortuna Meritas Collection will feature four whiskies and are inspired by the distillery's belief that 'fortune favours the brave'. Three new whiskies - the Regalis, Luceo and Dominium - will join the existing Valour expression to form the collection.
The three new expressions have each been matured in a different type of sherry cask and have been selected by Dalmore's Master Distiller Richard Paterson in partnership with the famous Gonzalez Byass bodega in Jerez. Regalis has been matured in ex-Amoroso casks, the Luceo in ex-Apostoles casks and the Dominium in ex-Matusalem 30 year old casks.
All are bottled at 40% ABV and will be available European travel retail outlets shortly. They will be priced at £60 for the Regalis, £67 for the Luceo and £75 for the Dominium.
Glenmorangie
Glenmorangie, the best-selling Highland single malt distillery, have announced an initiative to celebrate their Extra Matured range of whiskies. The range includes the sherry cask finished LaSanta, the Port cask matured Quinta Ruban and the Sauternes cask matured Nectar D'Or. The initiative, named Old Fashioned Week, also celebrates the brand's fifth year of the British Open golf tournament, which this year takes place at Troon in Scotland.
For Old Fashioned Week, which runs next week from June 13-19, Glenmorangie have teamed up with drinks writer Laura Foster. She has visited some of the UK's best bars, who have created Old Fashioned styled cocktails inspired by and using the Extra Matured range. Each bar will be serving this cocktail to customers during the week. Foster will also appear on a series of videos throughout the event. To see these and for a full list of participating bars, please visit www.glenmorangie.com.

"I felt that there wasn’t a luxury, personalised service available to the public that offered something special to visitors. Whisky Co. is here to do that, by providing extra-special whisky experiences based on exactly what the customer wants, rather than providing just another pre-packaged whisky holiday."
