Jura
The island distillery of Jura have unveiled a new limited edition single malt - the Jura One And All. It has been created as a celebration of Jura's community and those working at the distillery to make Jura whisky. Only 200 people are currently resident on Jura and they have helped to build the distillery back up after it re-opened 50 years ago after a long period of closure.
One And All is 20 years of age and has been matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. This has then been combined with Jura whisky that has been aged in ex-sherry, ex-sparkling Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon casks, plus ex-Pinot Noir barriques.
Jura One And All is non chill-filtered, of natural colour and bottled at the cask strength of 51% ABV. It will be available in specialist whisky retailers and online retailers with a cost of £120 a bottle.
